A: The bodies are manufactured in Europe, while all other components are manufactured in Merla's facilities located in Houston, Texas to preserve and guarantee Merla's high quality and production standards.

A: Our valves are indicated in 1/64” of an each accordingly to the size of the trim. For example, if you have a 1” Trim size, your valve will be open 100% when your indication shows 64. If you have a 1⁄2” trim, your valve will be open 100% when your indication shows 32. Simple math to mark the opening percentage of the valve.

a. Seals got damaged and need to be replaced.

b. Seal surface of stem is worn out, and needs to be replaced. This could be because of wrong application, problems in flow lines, dirty wells, among others.

A: Yes, all our choke valves can be actuated. Merla, however, can only actuate the FCV Series Valves. The other valves are combined with equivalent actuator brands.

A: Yes, the Adjustable Choke Valves Series are offered in linear design. The rest of the content needs to be deleted.

A: All of our bodies are Angle. However, we offer the FCV valves in an In-Line body as well.
